Refund Policy
Straightforward terms for plugins, services, and consults. We’ll always try to help first, and we never play hide-the-ball with fees.
1) Plugins
Our WordPress plugins are tested and documented. If a critical defect prevents the plugin from working as described and our support can’t resolve it, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
Eligibility checklist
- Issue reproduces on a clean, supported WordPress/PHP version.
- You’ve provided access/logs or a clear error so we can triage.
- The problem is not caused by a third-party theme, plugin, or host limitation.
Not refundable
- Change of mind or “not what I expected.”
- Ignoring documented requirements/compatibility notes.
- Conflicts introduced by unrelated third-party plugins/themes, or custom code we didn’t author.
Tip: if you’re unsure about fit, message us first and we’ll confirm compatibility before you buy.
2) Services & builds
We scope work up front and ship against that scope. Once work begins, service fees are non-refundable. If you cancel before we start, any prepaid amount may be refunded at our discretion (minus any third-party costs already incurred).
- Milestones: Typical fixed-price schedule is 40% / 40% / 20% (start / review / launch).
- Change requests: Out-of-scope additions are quoted separately before we proceed.
3) Consults
- Free intro (15 min): no charge, no obligation.
- Paid consults: non-refundable once delivered. Reschedule with ≥24 hours’ notice; no-shows aren’t refundable.
4) Subscriptions & renewals
If a plugin offers a subscription (updates/support), you can cancel any time from your account or by emailing support. Access remains until the current paid period ends. Renewal charges aren’t refundable once processed, but we’ll gladly turn off auto-renew going forward.
5) How to request a refund
Email support@buildrightweb.com with your order number, date, product/service name, and a short description of the issue. We respond within 5 business days. For plugins, include steps to reproduce and any error messages.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method (PayPal/Venmo/Card via PayPal). Bank posting times may vary.
6) Chargebacks
If something’s off, talk to us first—we’ll make it right where reasonable. Unwarranted chargebacks slow everything down; we provide documentation to the processor when needed.
7) Legal notes
- Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights applicable in your region.
- We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect new products, laws, or processes.
